Martyr | |
Martyr is the Commander of the NSTA Branch Office featured in the comic. He used to be a Field Agent, before being injured in the line of duty. Because he was such an outstanding Agent, he was offered a Commander position which he accepted gratefully. Though most Commanders are known by their given names, Martyr decided to keep using his RISAnet ID as a reminder of his former position.
Having once done the job, Martyr knows better than most Commanders what dangers Field Agents face, and tends to be more lenient toward unorthodox behavior. He was the one that recommended Delirium be given Field Agent status, and had Delphi transferred from the Intel division. He tends to be thoughtful and quiet, rarely smiling. He keeps high standards for his Agents, and is not very forgiving if they fall below them. Even so, he is greatly respected by all of his employees, and much of the national NSTA administration. However, Martyr's unconventional attitudes have made him some enemies, who try their hardest to make him and his entire Branch look bad. Fortunately, they haven't succeeded.
Gunnar & Jack | |
These two are the unfortunate gunmen sent after Flashfire and Delirium in Issue 1. (Gunnar is the sniper, Jack is the driver.) They have a habit of arguing with each other when things get tense, which turned out to be very advantageous for the Agents. Gunnar and Jack are both in custody, awaiting interrogation by the NSTA. It is known that they were paid for the hit, but not by whom, why it was arranged, or whether there is a connection to the attack on Delphi. Hopefully, answers to those questions will be discovered soon.
Luke Berringer | |
![]() Luke is a friend of Ewan's. They met in college and still occasionally hang out together. He is very easy-going and jovial, never taking anything to seriously. He and Crystal, one of Ari's friends, hit it off very well and apparently have some sort of relationship going now.
Crystal Williamson | |
![]() The most outspoken of Ari's friends, Crystal is a vehement anti-establishment - and anti-NSTA - activist. She tends towards impulsiveness, and frequently embarrasses her friends this way. Even so, she's still respected by Ari, who often goes to her for advice and opinions. Who knows what would happen if she ever found out what Ewan actually did for a living?
Annalinde | |
![]() Annalinde (no, we don't know her last name) is one of Backdraft's minions. So far, she's proven smart and perceptive, and could very well cause a lot of trouble for Flashfire and his team. In fact, she probably would have made a very good Agent, if she hadn't fallen in with Backdraft, instead. A pity.
