Alexei (or "Alex", to most people) is the youngest Field Agent in the history of the NSTA -- he was recruited almost straight out of high school after he was caught hacking into RISAnet databases. He was given the choice of going to jail or joining the Agency, and he chose the latter (duh). Alex was originally supposed to work for the IT department, but was allowed to switch to Field Agent after passing all the necessary tests (a decision that Martyr occasionally regrets). He chose "Delirium" as his RISAnet ID; it was his handle on-line, and it just seemed natural to stick with it.

While Delirium has proven himself a very capable Agent, he can still be impulsive and immature. He rarely thinks before he acts, and completely lacks the ability to keep his mouth shut -- tendencies that have gotten him into more trouble than he cares to admit. To keep him balanced, he is rarely allowed to work alone -- he has been teamed up with Flashfire recently, whom he enjoys antagonizing.

Off work, Delirium is much different -- very soft-spoken, he comes across as a typical nerd. He spends most of his time on the computer, or gaming with a group of friends. He is very proud his job, however, mentioning it whenever he can -- and sometimes using it to is advantage (like keeping all the RPG rules in a special folder on RISAnet for quick access during game sessions).
