Author's Note: This was a pretty challenging page, from a technical standpoint. Normally, when I clean up the pages in Photoshop, I just grab each panel, and using guides, make a mask for it that I paste the original into and resize from there. That way I don't have to worry about being a little off from the vertical or horizontal when I hand-draw the panel lines, since I can just clean them up during editing. I can also usually be a little sloppy when "cutting out" each panel, since I'll have an eighth of an inch or so of blank white space between each one. However, that wasn't the case here. I had to be very precise when cutting and masking, so I didn't end up with big, ugly white strips on the sides of the interior panels. The effect was well worth the extra effort, though. :)
